PS5 and PS4 do not have alternatives to run them natively via compatibility. I also remember the last couple of chapters in the game where they throw so many enemies that you couldn't possibly kill them all. Many times I have no idea what's damaging me in a heated situation, and after the dust settles a bit, it turns out that it was an asshole necromorph spewing projectiles from an elevated section of the area I'm in. The scenarios they came up with were also infuriating in general. There was an insane amount of those mutated black skinned enemies which are not only much faster and deal extra damage, they are also complete bullet sponges. One of the most influential, anxiety driven and suspenseful horror games created the 'Dead Space' trilogy was one of the most genuinely interesting and unique games of the genre. Fighting enemies in DS2 was just a miserable experience. I'm mostly referring to enemy encounter design. ![]()
